FAQ
Due to insurance requirements, most insurance companies require that you have a referral in order to come to physical therapy. However, there are some insurance companies that do not require a referral though. If you are unsure, you can call us to inquire about your specific insurance company or call them directly with the phone number on the back of your insurance card.
Besides our direct focus on you and your goals, we also require our therapists to complete the Mechancial Diagnosis and Treatment Degree (MDT) for the McKenzie Method. This degree enables them to make a quicker and more specific diagnosis and develop a customized treatment plan to get you better, faster. Additionally, we provide private treatment rooms, one on one appointments with the physical therapist rather than a PT aide or tech, exercises tailored to your specific problem, frequent adjustments to your treatment plans to make sure it is the right treatment plan for you.
At Montana Spine & Joint Rehab (MSJR) our purpose is to provide superior-quality, patient-centered, research-based physical therapy to the people of Montana resulting in faster improvement and lower cost of care. We reserve time slots for each patient to minimize waiting time and assure continuity of your care. Your consistent attendance of the planned treatment regimen is crucial to your full recovery! Failure to keep regular attendance may negatively impact your treatment plan of care, your recovery and reduces our ability to accommodate the scheduling needs of all our patients. As such, we thank you for your full cooperation with the following company policy:
Last minute cancellation and patient no shows decrease our ability to accommodate the scheduling of other patients in need. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, we require 24 hours advance notice. MSJR reserves the right to charge you a $35 Fee for Cancellations and a $50 Fee for No-Show appointments. Your insurance will NOT be billed for this charge.
If you are going to be late for an appointment, please let us know as soon as you can. If a patient is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment and fails to notify the clinic of the tardiness in advance, treatment may be cancelled. A $15 tardiness fee may be charged for late appointments and a $35 Cancellation fee may be charged for appointments that are cancelled.
We are required to document all cancellations and missed visits to your medical record and report it to your physician and insurance company/third party payer.
If you have 2 or more unexcused absences in a 12-week period without a 24-hour advance notice, this may result in the cancellation of all your remaining scheduled appointments.
Repeated failure to comply with this policy will result in your appointments being scheduled based on availability, which will require you to call for an appointment on the day you seek to receive therapy.
ALL NO-SHOW, CANCEL, OR TARDINESS FEES ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND WILL NOT BE BILLED TO YOUR INSURANCE. ALL NO-SHOW, CANCEL, OR TARDINESS FEES MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT.
